S.T. Dupont continues its tribute to the ancient Japanese art of Maki-e. Each piece, hand-decorated by the master artisans of Wajimaya Zenni, reveals intricate designs adorned with gold powder and colored lacquers, representing traditional Japanese symbols and signed “Zenni,” the artist workshop with which S.T. Dupont collaborates.
The Hikari no Tera collection pays homage to Kyoto, the capital of arts and a symbol of traditional Japan. Colored lacquers depicting the gardens and the lake showcase the full splendor of the famous Golden Pavilion, painted with a brush using gold powder.
Ligne 2 Cling Lighter with Maki-e Hikari no Tera motif in gold powder, mother-of-pearl, and black lacquer with golden finishes. Features a double yellow flame and the famous “Cling” opening mechanism.
