Lacquered Lighter
S.T. Dupont continues its tribute to the ancient Japanese art of Maki-e. Each piece, hand-decorated by the master artisans of Wajimaya Zenni, reveals intricate designs adorned with gold powder and colored lacquers, representing traditional Japanese symbols and signed “Zenni,” the artist workshop with which S.T. Dupont collaborates.
The Fugaku collection is inspired by the former name of Mount Fuji. Combined with the torii, a symbol of connection to the sacred, and cherry blossoms highlighted with mother-of-pearl on their petals, this collection reveals the full beauty of Japanese nature.
